Although the Special Olympics National Winter Games 2024 in the beautiful Haslital / Brienz area are over, the lasting impact they’ve left behind resonates strongly in our hearts and minds.
40 J&J Volunteers had the privilege of being part of this unique experience, and we are beyond thrilled to share the remarkable experiences they had during the Games.
The atmosphere was electric, with the Special Olympics athletes showcasing their unwavering determination, incredible skills, and boundless joy.
Nearly 600 athletes came together, showcasing the power of unity and the importance of celebrating diversity. The event provided a platform for the athletes with intellectual disabilities to compete in six different sports. It was truly a celebration of human spirit and the limitless potential within us.

On March 14, 2024, more than 170 individuals from the Swiss healthcare sector and from politics, business, and society gathered in Bern in the festive setting of the Viktor Award 2023 to celebrate diversity and innovation within the Swiss healthcare industry. This unique event especially celebrates those who often perform their extraordinary achievements behind the scenes and are committed to patient welfare.
For the 5th consecutive year, Johnson & Johnson has once again been certified by the Top Employer Institute as a Top Employer 2024 in Switzerland. Despite many of the explored practices being new this year, we were able to increase our already high rating. This is even more impressive in times of upheaval, such as we experienced last year and in a changing world of work.

The recycling project launched by Johnson & Johnson MedTech in Swiss hospitals has met with a positive response! Since the start of the project in April 2021, over 54,000 single-use medical instruments have been recycled. Six tons of material were collected from 16 hospitals. In 2023, nearly 800 kilograms of aluminum welded film were collected from around 27 hospitals.

On 9th November 2023, it was Swiss National Future Day, where kids from 5th-7th grade had the opportunity to gain some insights into the business world. At Johnson & Johnson, we hosted an immersive Future Day Program at seven different sites across Switzerland, allowing more than 200 enthusiastic kids to participate in this unique experience.
